Specialist in governance, elections, accountability, and public policy with over 30 years of professional experience. Currently, he is an academic in the Public Policy Department at the University of Guadalajara, a member of the National System of Researchers, and the executive director of Transversal Think Tank. He has been a consultant for international organizations such as the UN, IDB, and World Bank. He has held high-level positions in the public sector and has participated in civil society initiatives in Mexico. He completed a postdoctoral stay in Development Planning at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology; a doctorate and a master's degree in Public Administration from New York University; a master's degree in Public Policy from the London School of Economics; and a bachelor's degree in Public Administration from El Colegio de México
