José Alejandro Madrid Rea, born in Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico (March 19, 1986), is an architect graduated from the University of Sonora (2014), with a specialization in Sustainable Development (2018), and is currently in the process of obtaining a Master’s degree in Processes and Graphic Expression in Urban Architectural Design (MPEGPAU) at the University of Guadalajara. During his academic training, he completed research stays at UGR-ETSAG (Granada, Spain), UADY-FAUADY (Mérida, Mexico), UNIP (São Paulo, Brazil), and UPC-ETSAB (Barcelona, Spain) to complement his master’s thesis. He has received multiple recognitions, including honorable mentions at the II Regional Architecture Biennial of Sonora 2012 and at ENEA 2012, for both individual and team academic projects. His professional experience includes work at MYM Desarrollos (2010–2020), participating in industrial, residential, and service sector projects, and Madrid Arquitectos (2020–2023), where he carried out architectural design, supervision, and project management in residential and service sectors. His career combines research, teaching, and professional practice, with a focus on graphic hybridization, creative architectural processes, and sustainability, integrating analog and digital methodologies to promote innovation in architectural design and education.
