Daniel González is a Research Professor at the University of Guadalajara, attached to the University Center for Art, Architecture and Design (CUAAD).
He obtained the title of Architect from the University of Guadalajara in 1978 and a specialty in Housing in Latin America from the National University of Colombia and the Institute for Housing Studies of the Netherlands in 1980.
He continued his studies in his alma mater with a Master in Conservation and Restoration of Monuments (1990) and obtained PhD in Architecture from the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (Spain).
Since 2011 he is a member of the General University Council of the University of Guadalajara.
He is also a member of the National System of Researchers of the National Council of Science and Technology and has obtained the Desirable Profile of PRODEP.
He is founder and professor of the Doctorate in City, Sustainability and Territory, a program registered in the National Graduate Quality Register of CONACYT.
